Dopo un mese di utilizzo intensivo tra editing foto, programmazione e consumo multimediale, posso finalmente condividere un'analisi completa basata su test reali e uso pratico. L'obiettivo di questa recensione è fornirvi dati concreti e impressioni d'uso genuine, senza filtri marketing, per aiutarvi a capire se questo notebook 16 pollici 120 Hz possa fare al caso vostro. Design e qualità costruttiva Il telaio in alluminio anodizzato dell'A15 Pro trasmette subito una sensazione di solidità, anche se non raggiunge i livelli premium dei top di gamma. Con uno spessore di 17 mm e un peso di 1,7 kg, si posiziona nella fascia media dei 16 pollici moderni. La finitura grigio scuro resiste discretamente alle impronte, ma dopo settimane d'uso ho notato qualche micro-graffio sulla superficie superiore. La rigidità del deck tastiera è buona nella zona centrale, anche se applicando una pressione decisa vicino al trackpad si percepisce una leggera flessione. Le cerniere, testate aprendo e chiudendo il display centinaia di volte, mantengono bene la posizione desiderata fino a circa 135 gradi di apertura. Il notebook può essere aperto con una sola mano, segno di un buon bilanciamento del peso. Un aspetto che ho apprezzato è l'attenzione ai dettagli costruttivi: le viti sono a filo con la scocca, i piedini in gomma sono ben dimensionati (5 mm di altezza) garantendo un'adeguata ventilazione dal basso, e tutti gli spigoli sono arrotondati per un comfort ottimale durante il trasporto. Display 2.5K 120 Hz Il pannello IPS da 15,6 pollici con risoluzione 2560×1600 pixel è uno dei punti di forza di questo notebook, anche se con alcune riserve. La luminosità massima misurata di 395 nit (leggermente sotto i 400 dichiarati) risulta adeguata per l'uso in interni, ma in condizioni di forte illuminazione ambientale avrei preferito qualcosa in più. La copertura dello spazio colore sRGB del 99,5% e l'accuratezza cromatica con Delta E medio di 1,9 out-of-box sono valori rispettabili per questa fascia di prezzo. L'uniformità della retroilluminazione mostra una variazione dell'8% tra centro e angoli, visibile solo su sfondi uniformi grigi. Il tempo di risposta di 8 ms gray-to-gray è nella media per un pannello IPS e, combinato con il refresh rate di 120 Hz, offre un'esperienza fluida nella navigazione web e nel gaming leggero. Confermo l'assenza totale di PWM anche al minimo della luminosità, un plus per chi passa molte ore davanti allo schermo. Quello che mi ha lasciato perplesso è stata la qualità del pannello in condizioni d'uso reali: nonostante i numeri sulla carta siano buoni, i neri tendono al grigio scuro e gli angoli di visione, pur essendo IPS, mostrano un leggero color shift oltre i 45 gradi orizzontali. Specifiche tecniche e connettività La dotazione di porte dell'A15 Pro è generosa e ben distribuita. Sul lato sinistro troviamo due porte USB-C con supporto USB4 a 40 Gbps e Power Delivery, mentre a destra sono presenti HDMI 2.0b, USB-A 3.2 Gen1 e lettore di schede microSD. Ho testato il throughput USB4 con un SSD esterno NVMe raggiungendo picchi di 3,1 GB/s in lettura, confermando le specifiche dichiarate. Il modulo Wi-Fi 6 Intel AX201 ha mostrato prestazioni solide nei test con iperf3, raggiungendo 1,2 Gbps in condizioni ideali (router Wi-Fi 6 a 5 metri senza ostacoli). Il Bluetooth 5.2 ha mantenuto connessioni stabili con cuffie, mouse e smartphone simultaneamente senza dropout apprezzabili. Il lettore microSD, spesso trascurato, supporta velocità UHS-I con transfer rate massimi di 95 MB/s in lettura e 85 MB/s in scrittura, adeguati per il trasferimento di foto dalle fotocamere. La presenza di un jack audio combinato da 3,5 mm completa una dotazione I/O che soddisferà la maggior parte degli utenti. Prestazioni e benchmark Per garantire risultati consistenti e riproducibili, ho eseguito tutti i test in ambiente controllato a 23°C, con profilo Performance attivo e alimentazione da rete. Il punteggio Cinebench R23 multi-core di 10.850 è in linea con processori di fascia superiore di generazioni precedenti. Le prestazioni single-core, pur non eccezionali, sono sufficienti per garantire reattività nel daily use. La GPU integrata RDNA 2 con 6 compute unit si comporta dignitosamente nei task grafici leggeri. Il punteggio 3DMark Time Spy di 1.650 punti indica capacità gaming entry-level: titoli esports girano fluidi a 1080p con dettagli medi, mentre AAA recenti richiedono compromessi significativi. L'SSD mostra velocità sequenziali ottime per un PCIe 3.0, con picchi sostenuti anche in scritture prolungate grazie al controller con cache DRAM. Le prestazioni random 4K Q32T1 (non riportate in tabella) di 485 MB/s in lettura garantiscono tempi di boot rapidi e caricamenti applicazioni istantanei. Gestione termica e rumorosità Ho sottoposto l'A15 Pro a stress test combinato AIDA64 (CPU) e FurMark (GPU) per 30 minuti consecutivi. Le temperature hanno raggiunto picchi di 89°C sulla CPU e 77°C sulla GPU, valori elevati ma entro le specifiche AMD. La singola ventola da 70 mm con doppia heat-pipe mantiene le frequenze target senza throttling significativo, anche se ho notato brevi cali del boost clock dopo i primi 10 minuti. La rumorosità misurata a 50 cm di distanza raggiunge i 43 dB(A) sotto stress massimo nel profilo Performance, percepibile ma non fastidiosa. Nel profilo Standard scende a 38 dB(A), mentre in Silent rimane sotto i 32 dB(A) con ovvie limitazioni prestazionali. Durante l'uso office la ventola rimane spenta per lunghi periodi, attivarsi solo sporadicamente per brevi cicli di raffreddamento. Un aspetto critico emerso durante i test è il surriscaldamento quando il notebook viene utilizzato collegato all'alimentatore: le temperature salgono di 8-10°C rispetto all'uso a batteria anche con carichi leggeri, costringendo la ventola a interventi più frequenti. La superficie del palm rest rimane comunque confortevole, mentre la zona sopra la tastiera può diventare fastidiosamente calda. Autonomia e ricarica La batteria 70 Wh prometteva autonomie interessanti, ma i risultati reali sono stati leggermente inferiori alle aspettative. Nel test di riproduzione video loop 1080p con luminosità a 200 nit e Wi-Fi attivo, ho registrato 9 ore e 15 minuti, un valore discreto ma non eccezionale per questa capacità. L'uso reale con browsing web, documenti e streaming ha portato a un'autonomia media di 7 ore e 5 minuti, sufficiente per una giornata lavorativa standard ma con poco margine. Attivando il profilo Silent e riducendo la luminosità si possono guadagnare 60-90 minuti extra, a costo di prestazioni ridotte. La ricarica tramite USB-C Power Delivery 100W è rapida: 0-50% in 35 minuti come dichiarato, 0-100% in 97 minuti. Ho apprezzato la possibilità di ricaricare da entrambe le porte USB-C e il supporto per alimentatori di potenza inferiore (testato con 65W), seppur con tempi ovviamente dilatati. L'alimentatore incluso è compatto e il cavo USB-C da 1,8 metri offre buona flessibilità di posizionamento. Tastiera, touchpad e input La tastiera retroilluminata bianca offre una digitazione confortevole con corsa di 1,3 mm e forza di attuazione di 55 grammi. Il feedback tattile è buono, anche se avrei preferito tasti leggermente più stabili: quelli ai bordi mostrano una leggera oscillazione se premuti agli angoli. Il layout è standard con tastierino numerico completo, apprezzabile per chi lavora con fogli di calcolo. Il trackpad in vetro da 145×90 mm è ampio e preciso, con superficie liscia che facilita i gesti multitouch. Il click meccanico è ben calibrato nella met�� inferiore, mentre diventa meno affidabile avvicinandosi al bordo superiore. I driver Windows Precision garantiscono compatibilità perfetta con tutti i gesti di Windows 11. Il lettore di impronte integrato nel pulsante di accensione funziona rapidamente (unlock in meno di un secondo) con un tasso di riconoscimento del 95% circa. La webcam 1080p con otturatore fisico privacy produce immagini accettabili in buona luce, ma mostra rumore evidente in condizioni di scarsa illuminazione. I microfoni array offrono una cancellazione del rumore di fondo basilare ma efficace per videochiamate. Software e user experience L'A15 Pro arriva con Windows 11 Home in versione pulita, senza bloatware pre-installato. L'unica utility proprietaria è il Control Center, software essenziale per gestire profili prestazionali, curve della ventola e alcune funzioni speciali come il battery charge limit all'80% per preservare la longevità della batteria. Il BIOS UEFI, aggiornabile tramite utility EZ-Flash integrata, offre opzioni avanzate per l'undervolt del processore e la gestione della RAM. Ho aggiornato alla versione 1.07 che risolve alcuni problemi di wake dal sleep e migliora la gestione termica. L'interfaccia è intuitiva con supporto mouse e layout grafico moderno. Driver e firmware sono mantenuti aggiornati tramite Windows Update, eliminando la necessità di cercare manualmente gli aggiornamenti. Durante il mese di test non ho riscontrato problemi di compatibilità o crash di sistema, segno di una piattaforma matura e ben ottimizzata. Rapporto qualità/prezzo Il display 2.5 K a 120 Hz e il processore a 6 core rappresentano caratteristiche solitamente riservate a notebook più costosi. Il target ideale comprende studenti STEM che necessitano di potenza di calcolo per simulazioni e programmazione, content creator entry-level che apprezzano lo schermo ad alta risoluzione, e utenti generalisti che desiderano un sistema fluido e reattivo per multitasking. Il gaming occasionale è possibile ma non è certamente il focus di questo dispositivo. È la scelta giusta per chi cerca un 16 pollici versatile con schermo fluido e buone prestazioni multi-core, accettando qualche limite nella gestione termica e nell'autonomia. Studenti universitari e professionisti che privilegiano produttività e portabilità troveranno in questo dispositivo un compagno affidabile, mentre chi cerca prestazioni grafiche elevate o autonomie da ultrabook dovrà guardare altrove.
